It was February of the cursed 2020, a month when the world seemed to have plunged into the abyss of madness. And I, faded by life, was there, in the last room (the bathroom), facing an unusual request from my little son.  
Soen was there, on the porcelain throne, ready to relieve himself of his intestinal burden. But instead of asking for the usual book, which usually accompanied him in these moments of solitude, he had decided that I should draw him a story.  
My artistic skills had been stranded years ago when a battered Goku drawing ended up in my middle school diary. Since then, my artistic talents had been relegated to the depths of my memory. The fear of failure began to creep in, but then I armed myself with a maybe-dried-out green marker and grabbed a dirty scrap of paper I had found who knows where in the kitchen, among dirty pots and forgotten odds and ends.  
I sat in the bidet next to him, perhaps to be closer to that horrendous source of inspiration, and began to draw. It was as if the marker had a life of its own, dancing on the dirty paper, creating a world I had forgotten. Soen watched with incredulous eyes as my dinosaur devoured an unfortunate soul.  
In the bathroom, amidst the acrid smell of excrement and Soen"s laughter, there was wonder. But what matters most is that, from that moment on, I never stopped drawing. And so, in the midst of the crap of 2020, I found a glimmer of creativity.
