Solitary Confinement

Freezing time itself with every slow drag off the spliff I hold closely. Thoughts racing my mind at a mile a minute, whilst everything around me remains still and there's a cold silence so deep you hear your veins pumping. Watching our world stop for once when I'm used to being the one at a dead end, living life through a soundproof cell with bulletproof windows.
