What a kerfuffle of a day! I dont know what to say.  
I guess sometimes things really dont go your way.  
You know how the universe is cruel and life doesnt go right?  
Then youll understand exactly how Im feeling tonight.

I missed my alarm this morning and severely overslept;  
Then, in a rush, forgot where my car keys were kept!  
It took 20 minutes to catch a taxi and to my frustration,  
I still ended up late for a big presentation.

My boss was really angry and said I needed to stop being lazy; 
But booking an important meeting at 7am is kind of crazy.  
Anyways the discussion boiled over and I eventually got fired;  
I didnt even care at that point, I just felt really tired!

I had a date with my girlfriend, but caused a bit of a hubble,  
When she showed up dressed fancy, I knew I was in trouble;  
You forgot our anniversary?, tears ruining her make-up   
I cant take this any longer, we need to break up!

So here I am, back home alone, why is this world so unforgiving?  
I cant even figure out a reason why my life is worth living;  
Without a job, friends or motivation, I dont know what to do  
Maybe Ill pucker up some courage and try something new!

Get a rope, tie it up, make sure its not too loose  
Then balance on this bucket and put my head through the noose

But if you cant tell by now, Ive had a hell of a day.
