Chapter 4: My Pain Is Yours Now

When the soul succumbs to the pain of the past and chooses to stay in the mortal world, the soul now exists to project its pain onto anyone that crosses the place where its world ended. The lingering pain is so powerful that walking this bridge for too long can lead the strongest minds to leap to their deaths. The trauma that binds to us in life is powerful & infectious but in the afterworld that pain becomes a wandering nightmare for all that encounter it.
