I honestly don't have much to say about this guy. I'd never seen him before and I didn't wait on him; he sat alone at the bar. His aura was somber and he didn't say much. I remember wondering why he might look as deeply sad as he did. He drank a Peroni and ate veal scallopini. 

This series began as ordinary compulsive doodling of some of the faces I came across at my restaurant job. It has now become a full collection - some of these people I know quite well, some not at all. I like to think that I'm connected to each one of them in a way and I hope the collection touches someone.
