Melt forever, feel the burn. 

My mind feels as though it"s always burning. It is always melting wax within my brain and the light doesnt turn off until I"m asleep. Through the night my thoughts resolidify until I awake again. The thoughts and ideas meld into soup congealed with my emotions throughout the day and sleep is the only time where it feels my brain cools off. I love the peace of sleep. 

It"s funny, some of the notes of my recent pieces feel sadder than my usual subject matter but I feel like exploring all parts of my brain are important to my art. The pursuit of self understanding should never be over, there are always new things about ourselves we will need to figure out. So this everlasting, evermelting candle represents the continual pursuit of self, the neverending journey of being a person until the day our lights go out and we move on to whatever"s next.
