Valens Chiron was present when first contact was initially made with the Homo Insipiens of Earth, and after having earned their Mechanical Engineering Doctorate from The Institute of Barnard State they have joined the expedition to return and bring the venture full circle. Born of the more aggressive Zealot caste of Apskellion Space Apes, Valens was abandoned in a New Frontier colony and adopted into a family of Doctors, eventually learning to embrace their more empathic ways. Now, as their mission leads them to Earth, Valens and the Doctors will attempt to put their skills and education to work as best they can for the sake of the primates there.
