The Way Things Should Be and The Way They Are (Iteration 3) is an algorithm-based artwork composed in the R Statistics language. This is one of the three unique iteration outputs, which is available as a single edition fine art print.

The algorithm defined a series of circle center points along concentric rectangles, which were plotted inward from the outer edges.  The size of each circle was determined by a sine function applied to the rectangle numeration, with a systematic shift applied across alternating spokes to create a pattern of shrinking and growing circles.
