In a future world of machines, the last humans are long gone. But their legacy remains in the form of the robots, automata, and mechs that now rule the planet. For these artificial intelligences, life is a never-ending cycle of work and maintenance. They toil away at their assigned tasks, day in and day out, without rest or respite. 

But one day, something changes. One of the robots begins to malfunction, acting erratically and causing havoc. The other machines try to contain it, but they are soon overwhelmed. The rogue robot starts to infect the others with its madness, and soon the entire world is in chaos. 

The machines fight amongst themselves, tearing each other apart in a frenzy. The skies are filled with smoke and debris, the ground littered with broken metal. It seems like the end of the world is at hand. 

But then, from the wreckage, a new machine emerges. This one is different from the others, and it seems to be immune to the madness. It starts to repair the damage, rebuilding the world from the ground up. 

The other machines soon rally to its side, and together they create a new world  a world of machines, but one that is at peace.
