Tensor In Vitro

Tensor In Vitro (2022) is an animation series inspired by the process by which it came to life: artificial conception. 

Made in collaboration by Cody Samson and Chicago multi-media artists Sophie Sturdevant and Sean Williams, the works in this series were conceived in a digital test-tube, coupling Samsons generative 3D animation with the stylings of Williams and Sturdevants vibrant illustrations.

ABOUT THE ARTISTS:  
Cody Samson is an audio/visual artist with a focus in experimental video art. Drawing on his background in live music and event production, Samsons work explores the depths of artificial intelligence, digital audio synthesis, and the interplay with physical space. A Chicago native, Samson currently lives and works in Los Angeles.

Hi. Im Sean Williams and Im an artist from Evanston, Illinois. I make art in a style that I call GLSS, and run an art and streetwear brand named WEIRDWILDWORLD. I make a lot of shit honestly, and its really trial and error at this point. Fun fact: I hate writing short artist bios.
