Long Way From Home Part 4: David & Goliath 

Took me almost two days to scale that ridge. I was really hoping for a small camp, maybe a couple tents and some huts. This is not a small camp A small part of me knew it was going to be something like this but I was really hoping it wouldnt be. Who knew these morons even had the capability to come up with something like this? My guess is its another hostage ship theyve somehow taken over. 

My whole life has essentially led up to this moment. This is it. All or nothing. I have to find my way in and navigate the ship to find where theyre keeping her. Luckily this is an ally ship so Ill be able to get the blueprints from a higher up somewhere.

The plan is to get in, get her, and get out with as little mess as possible. Now if it were an enemy ship things might be a little different. We might leave a little intergalactic explosive on board behind us but we dont want to mess with any current treaties in place. Last time that happ- well lets just save that for another day. 

You might think Im crazy taking on a ship of this size on my own, but youd be even crazier to think that I wouldnt if it meant the chance of being with her again. Ive said it before and Ill say it again. There is no option. Its her or it is nothing. If I dont come out alive, I can say with all my heart that I tried as hard as I could no matter the odds. Im a long way from home but I can feel her presence, and thats home enough for me.
