 Amabie is a plague-sealing yokai that appeared in Kumamoto Prefecture, Japan in the 1800s.They emerge from the sea and leave prophecies. Similar to a kappa or a mermaid.Their illustrations were only drawn once on the 1846 Kawaraban and have never been confirmed otherwise.After entering the Korona-ka in 2020, there was a boom in Japan as an image character for the extinction of the virus.Amabiko and other yokai similar to them.
