A new type of yokai that has existed on digital data since the 2000s. Avatars, which are virtual bodies, have become yokai. They emit a unique distorted cry that cannot be onomatopoeic, and drag what they hear into their virtual world. It was rumored that they could not appear in the material world because they are virtual yokai, but recently they have been confirmed several times in the material world. It can change into any form, and its "flesh" form can take over the host"s body by being "eaten" by another avatar.
