The Rainy Night Photographer by Noealz

"Snowpiercer" was taken one snowy night in Seoul, South Korea. Snow is very rare in Seoul, so if it snows I tend to drop everything and head out, even if I have to work the next morning. In this case, it started to snow around 1 am, so I headed to downtown Seoul to take photographs until the snow stopped in the morning around 4 am. For me, the extra effort taken to photograph in these conditions creates the most rewarding pieces. As I made my way through the dark alleys, I heard a motorcycle creep up behind me so I immediately turned around, crouched, and took a few snapshots. It is also one of the first pictures taken with my new camera that I was able to obtain thanks to my artwork. When I saw this scene, I knew I wanted to do something special and use light streaks and snowfall. I went to work the next morning at 8 am but was content for the rest of the day.
