The painting, "Hunt," ushers us into a vision of conflict and dichotomy set in a not-so-distant future London of 2027. The canvas captures two fox hunters, figures of a bygone aristocracy, now clad in grotesque garb with their visages abstracted into obscurity. They ride through the remnants of a city that once pulsed with life but now lies in abandonment and disrepair. High above, on the skeletal remains of buildings, youths are perched, their role in this tableau ambiguousare they the prey of a relentless, outdated pursuit, or are they the new vanguard, poised to challenge the old guard?

This scene is a maelstrom of societal breakdown, a stark meditation on the ever-present struggle between the haves and have-nots. It asks us to consider the cycle of power and subjugation, the ebb and flow of classes within the urban sprawl. The hunters, once the embodiment of control and dominance, now navigate a landscape that has slipped from the grasp of traditional structures of power, suggesting an upheaval of the social order that once was.

The youths, perhaps, symbolize a nascent force, an evolution of the working class that is no longer content to be silent or invisible. Their perch is both literal and figurative, a vantage point that offers a new perspective on the shifting sands of societal hierarchy. The "Hunt" is not just a physical chase but a metaphorical one, capturing the essence of the human struggle for identity, control, and survival in an era that stands on the precipice of change.
