When the path is chosen, we have become one with the journey itself. Through darkness there is light, and only light can resend the dark. We must step within ourselves, to absorb the light we once were, to return to the dust forever. 

Absorb the light, feel the dark
Become the striking life of natures scorn
Ourselves are us and we are them
To experience our spirit as mortal again

Artists Notes: This work is the second in a progressive 3-piece series that depicts a spiritual traveler embracing their path of life through the cosmos. The second scene shows the figure having absorbed the nebula stardust into their core, allowing them to become physical with space and time, and living a life that is both light and dark. In order to achieve enlightenment, they must pass through the next phase.
