Origins & Ancestries: Genesis

Here in the Caribbean, the game of dominos is a popular traditional game. It brings people together. In a spiritual sense, it helps creates a social moment essential to the human experience  a feeling of belonging. I suspect every country has its most popular game that brings people together and forms part of the culture.
 
 The squared black and white parts of this piece is also found in one of my collected native American symbolism finds online. The images and symbols they use are quite classic: circles, squares, triangles, crosses. And I find it amazing to combine them with a more modern interpretation in my abstract improvisations. You might describe my art as building a bridge between the old and the new ... with a personal touch.
