ive been known to make was losing you  
limerence laughs at our tragic, sweltering love  
micro managing intimacy because  
why should you ever believe we can be happy  
when all that remains  (with unshakeable certainty)  
is our inevitable goodbye  
still, my head desperately pleas  
to recite the poem my heart silently weeps  
until the jaw of janus become me  
and words erupt like volcanic hot springs
