"Kissing is an exciting dialogue," says Gigga Hug. What happens between kissers, she shows in a kind of optical heartbeat frequency, which she has frozen at the moment of energy exchange - desire for all eternity! With fine and also coarser digital hatchings than in the series Bodylines I, the artist creates here background and foreground as well as a subtle aura that envelops the photographed and at the same time exposes them to the voyeuristic gaze.
