One Light

We cant walk on water,

we can travel over top and we can see moving images of underneath,

but we cant walk on water.

Land based and land raised,

we built our empires and our dreams on a surface that is still a mystery.

Yet, we sit in the cities pondering the unknown adventures that fill our landscapes,

wondering where is the edge of our home in spacescapes.

Are we limiting our minds to the spaces of the cities,

racing and pacing to escape with hurry,

no consideration of the Mother Nature that gave us,

and raised us all with her mysteries?

As we step on her stones and forage her seeds,

forgoing any personal responsibility.
