John stumbled out of the bar, his eyes blurry from the six tequilas he had downed. He was in no state to drive, but he needed to get home. As he stood on the sidewalk, trying to flag down a taxi, a beautiful Thai woman in a yellow taxi driver"s uniform walked up to him.

"Need some help?" she asked in a thick accent.

John nodded, relieved. She hailed a taxi, and he climbed in, feeling grateful. As the car pulled away, he turned to thank her, but she was gone.

He shrugged it off and leaned back in his seat, closing his eyes. When he woke up, he was in his own bed, fully clothed, with a pounding headache.

The memory of the Thai woman in the yellow taxi uniform stayed with him, and he couldn"t help but wonder if he had imagined her. He would never know for sure, but the memory of her kind gesture stayed with him, a reminder that even in his drunken state, there was still goodness in the world.
