CIRQUEDUPEPE is an invitation. 
 
 Its an open entrance for all past, present and future frogs, and for all animals, of all kinds, for that matter. 
 
 The Ringmaster, Pepe, stands waiting, arms wide open, ready to receive and reciprocate the love. 
 
 The twins stand and watch in awe. 
 
 Life is but a circus, and we are all invited to share the stage. 
 
 Growing up in Toronto a stones throw from Baie-Saint-Paul, and therefore heavily inspired by Cirque Du Soleil, CIRQUEDUPEPE by P E Sharpe is part of the larger show, that has been her life-long work. 
 
 Through the lens of photography in an earlier part of life, with the painting and digital art coming later, this artist puts more than just a lot of love and thought into her creations. 

 She lives and breathes them.

CIRQUEDUPEPE

THEPEPEKING is a masterpiece. 
 
 A nod to one of the greatest movies ever made, by one of the greatest memes to ever exist. 
 
 Pepe WILL go down in history as a selfless King who helped to topple the corrupt traditional financial system, and enabled artists around the globe to spread messages of peace, prosperity & pacifism. 
 But, its still very early days. And if this statement is to become true, we (the Pepes) may first need to weather a lot of the same trials and tribulations become of the young prince, Simba. 
 
 Just like in the movie, the jungle is ready for new leaders, yet, perhaps those who are chosen to lead may prefer not to, or perhaps they are not ready to. 
 
 However, in the words of the Mighty Mufasa A king's time as ruler rises and falls like the sun. One day, Simba, the sun will set on my time here, and will rise with you as the new king 
 
 In the end, everything that the light of Pepe touches, will become Pepes Kingdom.

THEPEPEKING

Deliverance explores the inevitability of death and the otherworldly nature of the afterlife. At the center stands a being, their dark clothing matching the artworks often sobering theme. The beings skull stares out with a sense of eerie anxiety, as if it knows this journey is Inevitable  even necessary  but it still holds onto the fear of dying. Two other skulls peer out from behind (or within?) the being, standing guard, ready to escort the being into the afterlife. 
  
 The being is surrounded by ethereal flames of oranges, purples and aquas, adding to the otherworldly atmosphere. As I stare at the flames, they seem to flicker and dance, as if they are alive and have a will of their own. They add a sense of motion and drama, signaling that the moment of deliverance is imminent.

PROPHECY reminds us of our changing paths in life. Take advantage of being alive because an end is Inevitable. 
 
 PROPHECY is an A.I generated piece that was created by blending multiple prompt-based renders together. The A.I generated piece has been sent through an analog signal chain via conversion, which rendered the image directly onto a CRT TV manufactured between the year(s) 1990 & 2002. The artwork was glitched and color-graded using a variety of video synthesis hardware, then, polished using video editing software.

PROPHECY

Michael Reeders work has been focused on the general theme of mortality for over five years, so he is a perfect match for The Inevitable: Life, Death, and the After. His ArtDrop for the exhibition, Wisdom Keeper, was originally a sketch for a painting intended for his November 2022 solo show in NYC. That painting shifted in a different direction, so he was able to jump back in and develop the image further. 

 Depicted is an old beat-up vinyl album cover for a faux band called Wisdom Keeper. He wanted to include the roughed-up patina on the album cover to represent age as a literal indicator of the existence of life and death and their relationship. Blending the face and graphic skull represents the finite nature of life and that everyone ultimately has an  expiration date. In addition, the overall proportions and shapes of the piece are entirely derived from Reeders Cyber Bandits PFP format.
