Choose depicts the battle between our fiat currency system and the bitcoin financial system. Initially the work shows various international currencies in the background but slowly bitcoin starts to infect the piece like a computer virus. Unlike most computer viruses this is actually good for the system. As the female subject looks towards the viewer, the background starts to change and she glitches as a pop up appears where she must make a decision to either stay with the fiat system or move to the bitcoin system. She chooses bitcoin and the code starts to download in the background of the piece. The subject breaks the rules and chooses the path of freedom.

Nebula is part of the Genesis Series. The series consists of my five earliest works that all started as physical paintings that were then tokenized. These include Genesis - 2017, Nebula - 2018, Acceptance - 2018, Filter - 2018, and thankful_for_today - 2018.

Nebula depicts the power and scale of ethereum. Nebula are natural phenomenon whereby new stars are created from a cloud of dust, this parallels the ethereum ecosystem in which decentralized people and entities begin to connect and create applications for the network.

The piece shows a female subject looking at the viewer while the ethereum whitepaper begins to fill the background of the piece. An ethereum shaped nebula is formed and the subjects eye separates and glows to represent the creation of a new star/decentralized application. The foreground slowly disappears to reveal the full nebula which shows the vast ecosystem that has been created.

The People portrays that bitcoin"s strength and resilience comes from people united and not one authority. The piece features a female subject with her eyes hidden by graffiti spray that says, "We Are Satoshi". The animation goes on to reveal the many faces of Satoshi. The background features images of George Washington cut directly from real United States dollar bills with the words "opt out" over their eyes. This represents the Cypherpunks aka the "founding fathers" of bitcoin to which we pay respect for laying the foundation of the incredible system we have today. In the print you can read the names of some of the original people that chose to opt out of the system and create a new one. You can join them - fill "your name here"...
