Ocean revival

The Lost Clod series is different from the usual ones I make. In these, unlike the others where everyone survives and creates small worlds, here there are no survivors. For some reason, due to the situation, the lack of resources or simply the size of the clods themselves, their inhabitants cannot survive. They suddenly find themselves in these pieces of land born from the destruction of our planet. Despite resisting the catastrophe and not letting go immediately, their end seems to have been sealed. A different way of seeing things, perhaps pessimistic, but realistic.

Wavelength is an idea stemmed from our brains electrical activity and how a thought can spark millions of connections within our neural pathway. Creating the bridge between code and our brains functionality is a fascinating idea which relates on a extremely relative scale. The random processes our brains execute without conscious thought relate to the way code writes without the need for complete physical interaction. Once the foundation of the code/thought is outlined, the rest progresses like a subconscious thought. An artwork inspired by the the idea of bridging the gap between AI and Humans by simulating the cognitive abilities of the human brain.
Kaleb Johnston
Kaleb Johnston is a New Zealand based artist who works and lives in the top of the South Island. Across the last 7 years Kaleb has been pushing the limits with his creativity not only learning photography, but generative art and 3D animation too. In 2019 Kaleb left high school at 18 and started to work as a fulltime freelance artist. Since then he has worked with some of the biggest Industrial corporations in New Zealand as well as many festivals shooting for world class artists.

Australian born Yasmin Shima is the artist and the founder behind Year of The Woman. Growing up in a family of artists, Yasmin has creativity in her blood. Whilst mostly self-taught, in February 2017 Yasmin took her first painting class in 20 years and hasnt stopped since. She struggled financially to get recognition over the years since becoming an artist, taking freelance production work to help pay the bills. In 2019 just before the pandemic, she quit her production job to become a full-time artist. She started teaching paint classes to adults and children and producing commercial murals to increase her chances of exposure. In 2021 she had surgery and she was unable to work at her easel, so she self-taught herself in digital art and eventually created Year of the Woman

With 15 years of experience via various projects, e.g. concept art and illustration in game development, brand identity building, geek fashion for Blizzard and Warner Bros., The National Gallery, etc. I created my own 2D outsourcing studio with friends in Budapest. In the recent years pledged to help other artists reach their potentials through creating art tools for them and sharing the painting process on his youtube channel. I"m working on NFTs since March 2021 trough partnerships and building our own collections. From geometric portraits to abstract art I love experimenting, but the classic fantasy and sci-fi themes are the closest to my heart.
