White Paint (prod. Sango)

An artist"s journey 

With every project and musical endeavor I always try to approach it with a different perspective, like all artists I assume, in hopes of creating something new. That journey has brought me to the web 3 space and Soundxyz.
 
Like many artists, Ive spent the last couple years exploring web 3, studying the use cases and trying to pinpoint just exactly where I fit in the space. I always aim to maintain a sense of quality and authenticity with the content I release, even when it may result in great ideas being left on the proverbial cutting room floor. 

White Paint was one of the songs born from many sessions, originally supposed to land on an EP I made called Vista. When Sango sent the original beat, and while writing the song I remember thinking this is different, this is new. This is the moment we as creatives strive for right? To break new ground within ourselves, taking a risk on you and it actually working out. 

When going over the tracklist for the project, White Paint ultimately didn"t make it. It may have been too different from what everything else on the EP sounded like. Which unfortunately, was what a lot of music we listen to now sounds like. I have a tendency to second guess an idea that doesn"t fit, deem it unworthy of consumption, and ultimately regret my decision. 

As an artist the last thing I want to have are regrets when it comes to my output. So with my genesis drop Im letting it fly, because in the end it won"t matter the excuse, only that I again denied myself the opportunity to be vulnerable in my art.
