All Beatclub Collection NFTs come with the ability to unlock access to a custom soundpack from Beatclub. Holders can use the soundpack to create a custom beat or song and enter a contest to win a VIP membership to Beatclub. My name is Gavin Austin Meeler (named by my dad who wore grandpa pants with cheap blue hair dye watching WWE while I was born & on the way there listening to grunge 90s music. Decided I should be named after the lead singer from Bush 'Gavin' & WWE wrestler Stone Cold Steve 'Austin') 
 
I love to create in different mediums, from pencil to paper, digital, canvas paintings, to 
collages. I just love making art! 
 
As a kid I was drawn to recreating stories through my own mind. I just felt it was something I needed to do to document my thoughts. My family said I had something special, but at the same time said I needed to be practical, which I ignored. I want to explore everything I can with this short or long life I may have.
 
 
I create in 2 ways one is creating subconsciously. In this way I don't think, I just feel something and create. The other way is methodically plan it, where I both feel & think about the piece.

Nothing beats commuting around the city to your favorite soundtrack. In this piece, the center clip symbolizes the journey, while the background consists of things you may discover along the way in the concrete jungle. All video was filmed in New York City from 2019-2022.

A New York Minute

Timbaland has been an inspiration to me since before I even made music. I was a dancer growing up and used to listen to his tracks and dance/make art to them all the time. It is such a full circle moment for me to make art in collaboration with someone that has inpsired me for most of my life. I wanted to make something that represents my synesthesia and how I see music when I close my eyes. I used a handful of techniques to bring the beat to life and make it easy to visualize. Big thanks to Time and Timbaland for letting me be a part of this amazing moment!

When I was presented with the opportunity to create an animation for the Beat Club CollectionI wanted to make sure that I created a piece that really showcased the Puppet feeling the music. As a huge fan of Timbaland and bigger fan of his works with artists such as Magoo, Missy and Aaliyah, I've seen how his music has moved culture and how it has opened doors for artists like me. One thing I respect is how Timbaland has made sure his music was used to push the narrative of black art forward and I am appreciative of that.
